Low Tatras mountain range is situated between the upper streams of rivers Vah and Hron. They are part of the Carpathians mountains. The lenght of the mountain is about 80 km and average width of 30 km. In the west surround the Low Tatras stream Revúca, Šturec saddle (1010 m), where hills bordering the Great Fatra and Starohorská river to the Popov saddle (1056 m) and the path connectiong Spiš and Gemer.
Most tourists (probably because of high glacier topography) is a central part of Low Tatras. There is the highest peak of the Low Tatras - Ďumbier with a height of 2,043 m. Te most famous valley is Demänovská. In these almost untouched forests can you undertake many interesting walking tour..
